8 Effective Action Strategies to Reduce Anxiety

Are you seeking a solution for your anxiety? Perhaps you've found yourself spending lots of time sitting around and worrying, only to end up having more anxiety over your anxiety! The only way to help the situation is to take action. You don't need to resort to anything drastic, but if you take action even in small steps it could make all the difference. Here are some action strategies for reducing your anxiety: 1.       Get a biofeedback device. A biofeedback device will show you the subtle things your body does when it gets anxious. It will record your actions, such as increased heart rate, perspiration, temperature, and strained muscles. These are things you don't normally notice. When the biofeedback device gives you these readings, you get to know your body better and you're then more able to counteract these symptoms and relax. 2.       Talk with friends. Feeling anxious also usually makes you feel quite alone. One way to combat this is

Stop Waiting On Your Life

This week I was sitting on the phone with Paypal tech support, and over and over again, I thought of things I could have done while I sat there — waiting — not living my life.  Are you “on hold” in your life?  Are you waiting for a spouse to come along, or for him/her to act better towards you? Are you waiting on the motivation to get your home organized? Are you waiting on a great job to fall into your lap? Are you waiting on winning the lottery to plan your retirement?  Stop waiting on your life! The only difference between you and the people who are getting what they want, is that they kept moving and you didn’t. Here are some ideas to help get you started again.  Focus on the who, not the what. If you find that you’ve been stuck in a goal for a while, try restating it in “who am I” terms instead of “what I want” terms. For example, instead of saying “I want to lose 30 lbs.”, say “I am someone who takes care of herself by keeping my weight around XX

The Magic Of Dreaming Big

If you don’t dream big enough, you major in minor things. A sad fact of life is that people don’t live to achieve their fullest potential. Most of the time, the act of surviving consumes them; only earning enough to live a comfortable lifestyle which takes up all their time. And in the end, they have yet to find meaning and fulfillment in their lives. What’s wrong here? How is it that people who have a job, with steady income and a comfortable lifestyle, can still find their lives lacking meaning and value? Shouldn’t they be happy because they have money coming in; they can buy and do what they want? Realize that achieving a life of fulfillment and happiness is not just about making tons of money, enjoying luxuries, and free-time off… that’s only part of it. The other part is what many people miss: It’s about realizing your life’s purpose and acting on it every day. This produces a passion that makes your life worth living. It frees your heart from the binds of meaningles

Find Freedom Do What Feels Good

Thoughts are energy. Energy always wants to manifest itself. Energy can not be stocked or blocked. It will get out anyway. If you do something to prevent your energy from flowing, it will find another way to express itself. If you do not follow your energy, your intuition, swim against the stream of your own flow, energy will express itself in sickness, tiredness, depression, skin diseases, temper tantrums, aggressiveness and other not so pleasant things. So why not follow the road where your energy takes you? This is your lane, your direction! Do you know the song “I did it my way?” Well, if you do things your way, if you dare being yourself, you will feel your powerful energy! As long as you try to be somebody else to please your parents, peers, husband, wife, boss, children, neighbors or whatever, your energy will be frozen. Okay, I know what you are saying...but won’t I become selfish, an outlaw, a social disaster by following my

Creating Passive Income When You Have a Full-Time Job

Learning to balance work and other activities is important. It’s especially difficult to put in a full day at your regular job and then go home and work some more. But if you want to create passive income, it will require some additional effort. Creating passive income can greatly enhance your financial well-being. If you have any desire to break free of your full-time job, it will require you to put in some quality time at home getting those passive income projects up and running. Consider these ideas for creating passive income when you’re working full-time: 1.       Think about the best times to work. Maybe waking up earlier each morning is a viable option. Perhaps you can work through your lunch break. Are evenings best? Would you rather work all weekend and have your evenings free? ·          There isn’t a perfect strategy, but you need a starting point if you want to achieve success. 2.       Set a schedule. A common misstep is thinking that you can wo
